Beach Volleyball Time by Travel ManitobaThe GBCOA is a long running non-profit, incorporated organization in Grand Beach Manitoba. We provide services and activities for ~550 Cottage Owners’ families and friends, and welcome others from the Eastern Beaches Community to participate as well.
The GBCOA was established in 1954 and has been successfully running ever since. We organize kids’ activities/crafts 4-5 days a week and put on numerous other activities for kids and teens; organize social events for adults and maintain the community club as a place to come together for these events. We also coordinate a seasonal medical clinic for all to access; provide communication to members through our Website, Newsletter the Sand Dune News, Facebook, and Annual General Meeting; and provide representation and leadership on government and community organizations and boards.
In order to support all the activities, we have fund raising strategies including: Membership Drive, Socials, Raffles, Business Advertising in calendar, newsletter and website; Book and Bake Sales, and grant procurement.
