Beach Volleyball Time by Travel ManitobaThe GBCOA is a long running non-profit, incorporated organization in Grand Beach Manitoba. We provide services and activities for ~550 Cottage Owners’ families and friends, and welcome others from the Eastern Beaches Community to participate as well.
The GBCOA was established in 1954 and has been serving the Grand Beach community ever since. We organize children's activities, including crafts, 4–5 days a week throughout the summer, host a variety of community events and social gatherings for adults, and maintain the Community Club as a welcoming place for residents and visitors to come together.
We also coordinate a seasonal medical clinic that is available to everyone, keep members informed through our website, Facebook, and Instagram, as well at during our Annual General Meeting and through our newsletter: The Sand Dune News. We also provide representation and leadership on government and community organizations and boards including the MPPCOA.
In order to support all the activities, we have many fundraising strategies including: Membership Drive, Socials, Raffles, Business Advertising in calendar, newsletter and website, Book and Bake Sales, and grant procurement.
